In the old days, water was pulled from wells.  Nowadays, it is as simple as opening a tap for water to gush out, drinkable, limpid and abondant.

Water goes through the geological environment and charges itself with mineral elements which have an influence on its composition and its taste.  In this room, different waters are available to taste.  Information is given on the quality of the waters according to the physico-chemical composition.

Tap water is not only used for tasting, but also in housework to wash clothes, wash ourselves, water the garden...  For this reason, we will consider how water consumption is excessive.

A board on water consumption is displayed in order to make the public aware of the importance of water and the problems linked to the unequal accessibility to water on the planet.
Once water has been used, it is dirty and thus set on its way to the purification station where it will undergo different treatments.

Water treatment

You will be able to follow on this board, the different stages of the complete treatment of water in order to make it drinkable, from its source to the tap.
Indispensable element to life, its use has evolved throughout the centuries.  In this manner, thanks to canalization, hygiene and daily habits are a direct consequence of the use of drinkable water.
Heightening awareness of the different uses and treatments of used water is planned.
